Just remember Sue, Ohio isn't that far from KC. And Momma will be a heck of a lot closer!!! And there are a few ST riders in the area where you will be going, not to mention, some very good roads in the southern IN an western KY.

I just happened across this thread and saw the Holmes Road address. I have visions of riding from St. Louis to KC just to go to Jack Stack on Holmes. Those mushrooms and onion rings are like nothing I have ever had anywhere else. Add in a Jack's Stack sandwich with pork and beef and a heaping helping of hot BBQ sauce on the side and it's all over. Dang! I'm sitting here slobbering. It's about 235 miles from my house so that's 470 round trip. At 47mpg it would take 10 gallons x $2.90. $29.00 for fuel and another $21.00 at SmokeStack? How much more fun can one person have for $50?

Check the RTE link on the March 29 RTE in Hutchinson. Not as close as KC, but I'm buying lunch for the guy (or gal) who comes the farthest. I think some of the KC crowd is coming down, you might even hook up with them on the way.
