MCL Risers and Raising Tank.

Hi Guys.

I purchased a set of risers from motorcyclelarry.com. I've been waiting to put them on as I had heard a few people saying it's a pain to raise and lower the tank after risers are installed. But as the K&N's are on back order I would like to go ahead and install the risers and the filter after.

Question is... How hard, or possible, is it to raise the tank after the MCL risers are installed?

Very simple if you loosen the cross bolt at the back of the tank and slide it backwards before you try to lift it.- john

Same as above. You can do it but you have to loosen the cross bolt on the bottom back of the tank and then work the tank back.
