http://www.st-owners.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=25855&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1197662934Shuey has been instrumental in getting Florida riders together this year
and organizing a very nice event. In fact, FL-STOC '08 is already
scheduled. Please congratulate Shuey for being
December 2007
Member Of The Month.
From Shuey himself:
Fellow riders, friends and friends-to-be, I want to thank you all for this prestigious
honor that’s been bestowed upon me. Let me begin by reassuring all of you that my
comments will stand up to the most stringent requirements of the new appropriateness.
I have had the Intra-motorcycling Sensitivity Advisory Committee vet the text of even
trace amounts of subconscious racism, sexism and classism to include any references to
the superiority of the ST, specifically the 2007 model, as a superior mode of transportation.
Moreover, a panel of deconstructionists has reconfigured the rhetorical components within a
post-structuralist framework so as to expunge any offensive elements of Western rationalism
and linear logic.
http://www.st-owners.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=25855&d=1197662934
Finally, all references flowing from a white, male, Eurocentric, retired Army infantry / Armored
Cavalry officer, successful businessman, married man of 38 years and father of a 19 year old
(who knows everything) perspectives have been eliminated, as have other ruminations deemed
denigrating to the political consensus of the moment.
Again, thank you for this award. I hope to be seeing you at the light, the pump or across the table!
Shuey
Addendum: My friend Mark and I also dabble in sand art; castles being my preferred
medium of expression! This is a little something we did for a Hilton event.

Ya'll are the greatest. I leave my computer for one day and . . . wow! :toot1: How do you all find this stuff so fast?
Quick answers:
"You mean corporations will pay people to build sand castles ???"
Yes, sand art pays and pretty well, when it pays. Corporate training events, weddings, contests . . . Less work now that it's cooling off. :D Unfortunately for my friend, since May when I picked up my trusty STeed, I haven't been available as often!
"Oh yeah...how to you spell phalic?"
It depends on if you live in Alabama or not.
"Hey Shuey congrats... What does it mean if I understand what you said?"
Those who want the speedier path to enlightenment must ride the road to . . . FLSTOC'08 where all will be revealed!
and finally . . . FREE? Fred, I'm ready and I share!

I had the pleasure of meeting Shuey at BamaSToc, and I'm sure he went to school on that event in planning FLSToc. It is a pleasure to know the Army really teach these young folks how to baffle 'em with...No I ain't gonna say it!!!! Congratulations Shuey, very deserving!!!!

:1st: :yr1: CONGRATS Shuey
I can tell everyone here that Shuey is a blast to ride with - if you can keep up with him. During the Florida meet, I rode with him for a very cold daylong group ride that included St. Augustine, Daytona Beach and other parts that I could not find again with his GPS guiding us. He's a gentleman and - obviously from his spirited writing - a scholar to boot. Hat's off to you and well deserved. My avator shows Shuey in his dayglo suit, by the way.
