Unbelievable!:(

No responses needed here. Just a bit of venting and a small silent request.

Yesterday, while chatting with a co-worker (some of you would know him as the fellow who's daughter turned out to not be his daughter) mentioned that a friend of mine had passed away! Sigh! That's twice in the last couple of years where a good friend (someone I sort of lost touch with when I got married and my social life changed as is normal) has passed and I knew nothing. I'm so bummed! Hard to find closure this way! What with Dad's cancer, Mom's cancer scare, and now this I think I've had enough for a while! I just keep in mind that my pain pales in comparison to what my friends wife must be feeling.

Anyway, I called his wife! I guess he died of heart failure Oct 28th. She's doing well considering but still in shock over it and feeling the grieving process! I could hear and feel her pain over the phone! Just breaks my heart! What a tough time of year for this! She has a good support group (a ton and I mean a ton of friends of her husbands) looking out for her thou and that is a good thing!

I guess that I'm not asking for anything special or any posts in regard to this but that for those that want to, join me in praying for those who are in need of our Heavenly Fathers mercy this season. I'll be praying a blanket prayer for all of you, need it or not, and for all that you know who need the Lords help, want it or not. It is the least that I can do for anyone who is in the same situation as my friends wife and I am in and for all those who are so very supportive of the other members here at ST-Owners.com! What a great crowd! I'm very proud to say that I'm affiliated with this bunch and can't believe that they put up with me! Thank you everyone, members, mods & admins, for being such a great community!!:clap2:

That will make for a pretty big blanket, but we have a very capable "House Keeper"... ;)

I appreciate your concern for others. I've found that there's no better blessing to be had than to be of service to others.

Truth Elmo! You speak truth. We will suffer, everyone will suffer. Our charge is to serve others as modeled by the Master. Our suffering is part of our human condition. Care for those placed in your path and build your treasures in Heaven.
