If you get enough dirt on the pants it starts to act like armor.

I ran into these two guys in Yosemite last Sept. on my way home from WeSToc. Couple of young'uns from the Netherlands. They'd started in Alaska..... on their way to Florida and then down though the Yucitan...and yes they are (modified) Honda 50's.

oops, guess the files are too big, we'll do it the old fashioned way.

Jed Clampet's nephew and niece all loaded up for the trip to Beverly Hills to visit family.
I thought it a nice touch the blue and pink coats, so Jed knows who's who.

The Perfect added point is,,, the Girfriend/wife has on some type of High heeled Sandals,,, with Socks on!!!
And,,,
:::::shudder:::::
That 1 gallon jug looks like it has every indication of some scientific study of "Urine Specimens" taken over a 1 month time as they traveled...

Anyone notice the knobby rear tire?
Missed that, but on a closer look at the rear, I think it's the first Honda "Hard Tail" I've seen. He can't have more that a couple mm of suspension left.

Check out the custom seat....duct tape for covering, and also the driver's helment, shoved down over what ever is covering his head.

Located in 29 Palms! I bet wheelies are fun on that bike!!!! Makes me think of the ancient nomads for some reason!!
BTW, I think the jug has Tequilla in it (or is that extra gas ????). Same thing!

Duct tape on the seat... a Handymans favorite tool! :D Can't survive without it... used it to hold in 6x9 Jensen Triaxial speakers in my OLD Suburban a lifetime ago :)
How about those gloves hanging from the bars

From reading Zen and the Art Of Motorcycle Maintence I've always suspected Robert Persigs poor little SuperHawk sorta looked like that.
Oh good lord, and is that a plastic milk jug full of gasoline sitting right over the exhaust ????
From the color its either gas or its their porta potty

Here is what my friend (who took the pictures) had to say about it.....
We’ll here is the story of these two. Brian talked to the guy for a few minutes.
It’s a father and daughter we ran in to in Twentynine Palms, CA . They were moving to Arkansas…go figure. The funny thing is it was 41 degrees that morning, we just rode from Yucca Valley a few miles down and I needed to get a Red Bull so we stopped at this gas station. Brian and I have the heated grips cranked and the heated vest going, and we’re comfortable. To think that those two have hardly any clothes on, they must have been freezing.
Cheers,

Looks like my old CB750F.
I didn`t think it got that cold in 29 Palms.
Moving from Ca. to Arkansas, UGH!
Love the knobby on the rear.
Hope they made it.
