Pray for Dad

My fathers lung cancer has recently come out of remission & he's started chemotherapy again. Doctors say if it doesn't work there's nothing else they will be able to do for him. Seems unfair for a believer who's never smoked a day in his life! But we're all thankful for the extra time with him as he was given 4-6 months to live last January. We have left it in the Lords hands, the best doctor of all. Thanks & Happy New Year to all.

I am very sorry to hear that. Nothing fair about cancer. The only person in my family who ever died of, or even had, cancer was my grand mother. She lived a basically pure exsistance, never smoked, drank, etc. But that was 50 years ago. Here's hoping that modern medical technology can save your dad.

We recently lost a very close friend, more of a family member. She was young early 30's 3 wonderful children and a loving husbanddiagnosised with Cancer 3+ years ago. She was given 6 months to live. She lived , loved , and fought for an additional 2 1/2 years past the Dr.s best hopes for her.

It was not time for her to stop Gods ministry to us. She keep us going through it all. I bet your father is the same way. Cherish every moment with him...he is not through teaching yet.

I copied off all the replies to my prayer request and gave them to my father last night. It brought him to tears knowing that so many good people, whom we don't even know would take time to pray for him. He wanted me to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
He's proud that i could be a part of such a great group.
