I had to get a 4x because of my size and it fits perfectly, length is good too about 3-4inches below waste line, not tight in the neck at all.

I looked at the Transition, but there was no color I liked so I ended up with the Tour Master Flex on the recommendation from another LD rider, about its wet weather protection. It comes with a rain liner, and a Thinsulate liner. It is very warm, but unfortunately you cannot use the rain liner with out the Thinsualte. You can also unzip the outer shell to have a mesh jacket. Overall, pretty versatile, fits well, comes with ballistic padding, and I like the way it makes me look fast.

Update past 2 mornings Friday and Saturday temps have been 15-20 degrees and the coat is keeping me warm im really impressed with this Jacket.

Is the outer shell of the Transition waterproof - or just the inner liner?
How is it in the rain? Is this a 3/4 jacket? The adds don't say it is 3/4!

The Flex Series 2 is a big improvement over the original Flex jacket. The outer shell is your waterproof barrier and you can use the outer shell + the mesh jacket without the thinsulate liner or with it and you can use the mesh jacket + the thinsulate liner without the outer shell if you want...or even just the mesh without any liner or shell. I've ridden below 10 degrees with it so far and have been quite warm. Also, it has hard (CE approved) armor with padding underneath.

I think the Transition 2 is the other jacket I was looking at. I liked the FLEXability of the Flex 2 for year round riding a little better, despite the extra initial cost.

I also have a transition jacket i picked up in late jue right off the assembly line and love it. The outer jacket is water proof and has a thinsilate liner that is removeable. Plenty of vents and storage to boot also. I've ridden in the mid to lower teens and the jacket works perfect. I have a 3XL given my size and fits perfect.
