Loved my new mattress so much that I wanted to buy another for the wife (spare for me) but Cabelas (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0013104513723a&type=product&cmCat=perf&rid=0180101070502&xpid=k2776&cm_ven=Performics&cm_cat=Affiliate%2Dclick&cm_pla=Shopping.com&cm_ite=DDI%20Link) only has the Dbl size listed on the web site. When I called they said the have discontinued the mattress. They did find a store in Phoenix that has some in stock. will be calling them as soon as they open today.

Amazing such a good product is discontinued.. ugh...
Looks like they just came out with a different model from their website (http://www.sevylor.com/dyn_prodlist.php?k=77463).

The red one? Looks like it has a separate pillow section which is nice.
http://www.amazon.com/Sevylor%C2%AE-Single-Rubber-Cotton-Mattress/dp/B000221CHQ
Looks like the original one is just below the red one on the Sevylor website. A paltry $45.99 vs ~$26 for the red one on Amazon. Tough call.....

I thought the one on the web site for $45.99 is the double size. The Cabela store in Glendale, AZ had 7 left in stock. I picked up an extra one for $24.00 and some change. They shipped same day and I receved the next day. $31.00 with shipping.
When I click on it, it shows single - 77x29. Might be an illusion but it appears that the side tubes & pillow are larger diameter that the main tubes. If so, that could help keep you from rolling off it .at night
I just clicked on the red one again - price jumped to $33.99. I must have slept through the sale..... Also noticed that they weigh 6 1/2 lbs as well. As long as they pack smaller than a pad.
Bob, was the one you got the U630 (red) or the U631 (teal)? I really like the 631 and if it was that price I will call them first thing tomorrow....

At one point I was thinking I would have to see if you might at least pick the mattress up & hold it. That must be one busy store. Took a cuppla phone calls through out the day to make sure they got the shipping thing handled. When all was said & done I did receive my order the very next day.
I gotta go visit that big camping store in person one of these day's. I'm must be sumpfin to see....
It is a *really* big store.
Cabella's is larger than the Bass Pro Shop that opened recently at Dobson and the 202...
Both places are so big that you might want to have a little more time than you would expect if you want to wander around.
(The Bass Pro Shop has a beautiful working replica gattling gun 300 rnds/min only $60k... If anyone picks it up I *really* want to see it go through some rounds! :) )

GOT IT!!!! I called first thing today. Whitney doesn't come in until this afternoon but Trip found one and carried it up to Cust. Service. They will ship it out today.
I was thinking if this was going to be difficult, that I would ride over or have AZST hold it for me....
Thanks for the help. This is great - now to get a sleeping bag to go on it....

That Glendale Cabelas must one heck of a store! I just tried to buy some dry sacks to pack my sleeping bag. the online store was back ordered but the Glendale store had em all in stock. should be here tomorrow.
If I ever get over to that store & better allow extra time like Mark said & bring my truck.... Kid in a candy store, comes to mind.
Make sure you have a tow hitch on the truck (or a big *ss trailer!) :D

ALERT!!! THREAD HIJACK
So now that several of us have this mattress, how are we going to inflate it? Joe did a review of a WalMart rechargeable pump. I read the reviews on the WalMart site and most were unfavorable. I notice that REI has a double action air pump for $5. I just looked at the box which was about 12" tall but have no idea of the actual pump size.

The rechargable pump and 12volt pumps work fine.. this particular mattress has a small inlet valve which means it takes longer to fill vs. those bigger mattresses but it will work.
I actually have a balloon pump that I'm going to try next on the next trip to see how that works.

Hey man....I'm a clarinet player...I don't need and stinkin' inflator pump! I've got plenty of hot air!

I've been told that I do too..... Unfortumately, not enough - I have asthma. Have to have an external source.
I'm not a clarinet player but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once.....

+1 on this Ozark rechargeable pump. It works great at a great price!
<D>
The mattress arrived today from Cabela's so I went to a local WalMart to look for a pump. They had ac pumps, 12 volt pumps & D cell pumps, but not the rechargeable ones. Guess I'll try another store or order online.
As a side note, the mattress is fairly heavy as noted from the description originally, but it packs smaller than the pads or self-inflating units.

I order one from Kodiak Outback for $33.95, but just got an email saying my order was canceled because the mattress was discontinued.
I found it listed at Shipstore.com for $25.50 and ordered one. I hope they'll be able to send it.

I forgot to order one for the wife unit so I called Cabela's in Glendale at the 623 number and talked to Ben... Whitney is not in today. He said they have only six left for $24.95, but doesn't expect anymore. He literally had it in his hand and walked it to the mail order dept. Gett'em while they're hot.

John, glad you were still able to get the "deal"
Used mine again last Saturday.... It's like an old friend now!..
I used a re-chargeable Airman High Volume pump with the proper adapter to fill-er-up. finished it off to the proper firmness with a few breaths. works like a champ.

Desert Rider,
Where did you get your Airman pump? I found several sites, but they were all in the mid $60s. Is there anything out there that's cheaper, yet doesn't break with the first usage.
John
I got a rechargeable pump from REI for $25 but WalMart has the same pump for uner $20. The adapter chokes down from 3/4" to less than 1/4" which really works the pump hard. I made up a piece using 3/4" ID plastic tubing & plastic fittings which keeps the volume up and fills both inlets. I can air the mattress up in less than two minutes and deflate it in about the same time. Works like a vacuum bagger and makes the mattress as flat as when it came - even fits back into the same box.

Hi John,
Bought mine a Sam's club a few years ago to fill the toys we pulled behind the boat. Still using the orig battery... it also came with a high pressure pump & a 12vdc cig adapter. Can't remember what I paid for it tho.
