Very nice. One more week and I'll be heading south. Plan on leaving for Kerrville on Friday, 4/22. Then spend a day/maybe two exploring the Hill Country. Are you still available for tours?

WOW - what beeyootiful scenery - thanks for sharing the pictures. And yes, Texas is lovely... :)
This weekend, like last, should be beautiful in the mid-west. Swambo and I will start early Saturday morning in S.W. Ohio, ride thru S.E. Indiana across the Ohio at the Markland Dam and then thru KY for a full day's ride. this will be our 3rd good ride on the new Russell saddle. For me it is already great. She had a little burn last Sunday. :o:

Nice pix., but if you really want to see God's country, come to the great pacific northwest. Oregon, Washington state and British Columbia in the spring, summer, and fall are pretty tough to beat.

There aren't any official clubs... as far was we are concerned the entire planet is and ST club.... Just post here, there's even a Texas section, and anyone in the area, or within 800 miles, will probably join you from lunch.
The road near Austin and the Hill Country (Kerrville area) are very nice. Not near the magnitude of what you'll see in N. Georgia but at least they aren't as straight as here in Dallas.
Hopefully, we can get a lunch ride scheduled within the next month or two.

Check out http://www.ricks-rides.com (a little tame for ST'ers, but has some good routes. Mostly group rides.)
Also www.twtex.com (Seems like mostly guys from the Austin area, but a good site to link up with riders.)
Welcome to Texas...I think you'll like what you find. ;)
