I've been using the Storm glove by TNA Gear for the last three years while snowmobiling. The gloves are good quality and very warm. I've worn them in temps all the way down to -25F. They have a vapor barrier and are made of very soft leather and synthetic materials. They aren't a gauntlet style glove (which I hate). The price is high but worth it. I'd wear out two pairs of gloves per season while sledding. The first pair of Storm gloves I purchased lasted two years. So far they've worked very well for cold climate biking.

How well do you think it would hold up in a motorcycle crash?

Good question. Given the wear performance of my first pair I'd say good. The top side of the glove is well padded. The bottom side less so for good hand warmer performance.
