It looks like a date has been chosen which is Friday the 18th April until Sunday the 20th April.
It also looks like we have chosen Wales as our Destination
Go over to the MY-Mc.com site for more uptodate info as thats where BritSToc started and to keep both sites in the picture will be almost impossible

To confirm
This years BritSToc will be taking place in Wales although it is more Mid Wales than North
The dates are Friday the 18th April until Sunday the 20th April.
It will be taking place at a Campsite near the village of Rhayader.
Below is a link to the village details.
BritSToc 8 (http://www.rhayader.co.uk/about.htm)
The village is the Gateway to the Elan Valley which is a route we intend to travel on the Saturday on our way to the village of Aberystwyth via the Devils Bridge

Hi Peter
I really hope to be joining you at BritSToc8 I'm still off work at the moment with my Spondilitis. I have been riding the bike (dont tell the Doc) but it's not easy and long distances are a bit of a no-no for now. I'm reckoning on about four hours in the saddle and if I'm been honest with myself that scares me a bit. So If I can get the physio to get some more movement into my neck within the next two weeks I will be coming. I would hate to miss out on meeting you guys and the rides. It may be I have to go B&B, I hope not but anythings better than missing out.
I will keep you posted
All the best
Paul

Guys,
I don't live so far away so I hope you don't mind if I only come over for a day? Do you have any agenda for the days yet?
It'll be great to meet some STOwners at last!:bow1:

On the Saturday we shall be riding out to Aberystwyth via devils bridge
There are plenty of B&B's in the town so why not stay for one or two nights

Sorry but I will have to now give BritSToc a miss this year - family duties prevail! Why do these things always happen when there is a "bike do" on?
Til next time...

Less than a week to go now.
And how am I as far as ready...well....
My neck is giving me jip (spondylitis) due to been laid on the floor under the bike because the bike is in bit's  the exhaust fell off again...(I thought I could weld better than that) Waiting for the new silencers to turn up on Tuesday. I cant do a lot else really brakes done oil changed and bike polished again. So thought I would set up the Tom Tom ready for the trip and now I've lost the maps off the darned thing.
So all in all I'm just about all set to go:o:
I will be there even if I have to come down in the Jeep.

Well I've done my first Stoc event and it was a great one.
I met some great folk, shared some stories and drank a fair amount of alcohol.
I put 615 miles on the Pan over the weekend and enjoyed every single one. The best miles I have to admit were done in the company of a pack of Pans 1100's and 1300's a Silverwing and a BMW. We rode through Welsh valleys and up and down some fantastic roads. Some were a little on the narrow side but I'm not complaining the scenery was breath taking. I've made some new friends that I'm sure will last a life time. Thanks to Peter and the beautiful Fiona for the organisation. I know they worked harder than they would have us belive.
I'm in for the next one. It looks like I'm going to have to sort out the passport, even though I have always said I'm not bothered about going abroad when there's so much of this little Island I have to see. If it means riding with these guys again, I retract that statement.
Many thanks to one and all.
There are some great pics and stories posted over on the my-mc site
