OK, what does the Starcom do, exactly?

Route all of your audio gear into it, and it routes it out to speakers and a microphone in your helmet. So, you can listen to music, make cell calls, and talk to another motorcyclist via a walkie-talkie or something, or your passenger. Wire it how you want.

Basically, it's an audio-station that fits in the palm of your hand.

No, it is just on the Advance kits, But you could use a PS2 mouse extension cable to help get you by till you get a new cable. It won't have a water resistive boot but it will work.

I received my Starcom1 Advance from Joe last week and have a second order of accessories on the way.

I had no clue as to what I needed or how to set up my system.

Joe spent a lot of time with me on the phone explaning how things worked and making a lot of recommendations. With his help, I think that now I have a system that is going to be exactly what I wanted.

Starcom1 Navigation/Radar interface cables CAB-35
This will work for a 2.5 and a 3.5mm audio jack.

I received nothing but awesome service. With the Starcom, I ordered it on a Sunday morning, received a confirmation that afternoon and a box at my door on Tuesday. All my transaction were like this.
