We went to the Dr. on Friday. He looked at the MRI and feels that one of the tumors is a giant cell tumor. It is a localized tumor that is at the end of a long bone, (femur) and consumes the bone. Pretty aggressive. He feels he can remove it and replace the bone with bone cement. As for the second tumor, he can't tell if it just "squished" out of the bone and it's the same tumor, or something else. She is having a CT scan of her torso this morning to check for other cancer. If she is clean, they will remove the tumors on Monday, Feb. 4th... If not clean..... biopsey and figure out what to do...

Sink, hopefully it is all one on the femur and nothing anywhere else. That was the case with Gail's liver so she didn't have to have chemo or radiation. Just got a check up last week and she's cancer free now. She gets her next check in 3 months. Praying for you both.

All mine and Carols best wishes to your good lady mate. It's not nice the not knowing bit Carol and I went through it a few years ago when a lump was noticed in her breast. We were very worried for what seemed like a long time. All went well and Carol is just fine. We hope and pray the out come is the same for you both
All heart felt wishes and prayers are with youfrom us both

Add my thoughts and prayers to the many other good people on this forum. Fight dirty if you have to, but fight that cancer tooth and nail, and never give up!

I'm a survivor of a throat cancer some 7 years ago. I couldn't have made it without a stubborn will to survive, and more importantly, the support of the wonderful people in my life. You have a lot of good people pulling for you here (along with some sum*****es <-- joke! :)), so be strong. God bless.

Sink,

Prayers will continue to come your way as long as they are needed!

God is in charge. It's my prayer and hope that a full recovery is in His will.
