:bow1: My Corbin finally came in after a very very very long wait!
I put it on the bike to try it but I have not wired it up yet but that looks really simple.
First impressions. Well it looks nice. It is a bit wider than the original. I will really be able to tell when I ride it which will be in a couple of minutes.

Getting the seat on was a little difficult. But it might just be that I had a stupid moment. :excited: :nuts1:
Hope these pics come out.
Will update with the ride report!
Thanks!

Some times a good test ride can take at least a few hours. Seat looks good on the bike.

Mine came in too... I didn't get the seat stitching, just a plain seat, no heat. Feels really good though. Took about 4 weeks to get but well worth the wait. Customer service was good too. All in all a good experience with Corbin. Seat looks great and feels great, and cutomer service told me straight up info I requested.

My friend just got his and installed it last weekend. I will say that the wiring for the fuse is a bit crap. I would personally re-think the wiring since the fuse box looks naff (it doesn't close properly) once the wiring is complete.

Would've thought Corbin would do a better job than that! Apparently the seat is wonderful though. Might order myself one when I've got me some $$$$.

I am thinking about making the Corbin purchase also.

Mattie/Eddie-- please provide as much insight as possible regarding comfort, etc. I was sold on the Sargent but now am not sure. Does Corbin offer a rear seat to match the front??? I did not see it on their website.

Thanks in advance.

Just a little update!
I went for a ride last evening which lasted about an hour.
The Corbin feels very diferent from the original. It certainly has more support. I feel that there is a more even distribution of weight over all. I don't know if this is just in my head but I do like the leather, seems to "feel better". The seat is a little wider so my feet do not reach the ground as well. On the original I came close to getting all of my foot on the ground, now I have about half on the ground. Comfort? Well it seems comfortable but only some long rides will tell. I don't think I will get the same hot spots like in the past. All in all I like it so far! :D But time will tell.!

I'm curious to hear how what you think of it. So go out and ride through 2 tanks straight through and let us know. ;)

I am 5'9" tall. I wear jeans with a 29" inseam so with boots my inseam is probably around 31" or 32". And I weigh around 230 lbs.

As I said the Corbin is a little wider so my reach to the ground is a little more difficult now. Before I could almost flat foot, now I can get a little more than the ball of my feet on the ground. Not a problem but something to keep in mind. Hope this helps.

I rode two hours with the Corbin on tonight, such a different seat from the stocker. I am 6'2, 200lbs with a 34/36 inseam. The seat will spread your legs a bit from the stocker, but the thing you'll notice is how firm it is and how roomy it is. With the Corbin I can touch the ground flat foot when it's on the lowest setting. The seat will not slide you into the tank and there's enough room to shift back a bit if you want to change body positions while riding. Once riding with it I wondered how I ever rode without it. I didn't get the heated seat so installation was a snap. All I did was use the Corbin Saddle Cream. My seat is plain black leather, no stitching. Looks almost stock but feels a world apart. After two hours of riding I could easily hop back on for more. One of the best modification for under $300. I'd buy this seat again in a heart beat.
