Sunday Morning Breakfast!!!

Decided this needed its own thread... :D

Ok,,, me thinks we are going to have to have a "New and Improved" plan for Sunday morning Breakfast!!!

2 years ago we had maybe,,, 10 come for breakfast on Sunday morning...

Last year my guess is,,, 20 came... Eating downtown with 20 is no problemo...

This year??? So far,,, already,,, with still over 70 days to go,,, we have 63 saying they are staying for Breakfast!!!

This is GREAT!!! But,,, we will blow up any place within 20 miles if 63 people roll in on a Sunday morning to eat!!!

So,,, My Plan you ask??? I am thinking of having another "Cook-out" but this time have it at the Comfort Inn... That way we can still eat their Cereal,,, Bagels,,, Apple juice,,, Milk,,, Coffee,,, what ever else the Comfort Inn has anyway and use their plates and bowls ya see... How does this sound for a menu???

Sausage Patties cooked on a grill along with Bacon...

Scrambled Eggs...

Sausage Gravy...

Biscuits which you can have a Sausage patty biscuit,,, Biscuits and Gravy,,, or just a Biscuit...

Any Left Over Sweet Rolls from Saturday we can heat and eat...

Start serving at 7am,,, and quit around 9am or when the food runs out...

Cost??? Free... Ok,,, we might have a hat to toss a $ or 3 in but way cheaper than a restaurant,,, and we get to all be together,,, and have plenty of room...

So,,, Opinions??? Lets hear what ya think!!!

Sounds great! Fresh cooked, hot off the grill and no Mickey D wrappers! What's not to like?

The Comfort Inn does have rooms available for Sat. night if you want to be ready to eat first thing in the morning without saddling up! :)

I might,,, be able to start serving before 7am,,, but it all hinges on having help to get everything out to the Comfort Inn,,, and set up to start... But,,, me thinks,,, I can have it perking for sure by 7am... :D

Ok... I probably should have just pm'd this to you Terry... but wanted other comments. Breakfast is a generous offer ..... your generousity again..... I think you forget how much the hundreds of us attendees appreciate what we had already. I think you underestimate how willing many of us are to pay for breakfast. I think your thursday personal invite is awesome... the whole event Unbelievable... ok ... legendary... so quit giving all this without getting a little for that chairity of yours!!! $5.00 donation per plate to the mission would be minimal.... I'll throw in 10!!

I like to pay my way. Whether the Money goes to cover the costs or to charity, I'm in for $5 to $10 per breakfast.

Looking like Adam C. is gonna join me for the weekend. See youse guys there. :D

We will have 1 hat to toss money in... I don't want to set a price,,, will not do it... :p: Some will eat a little,,, some will eat a LOT,,, just pay what ya think is fair,,, and makes ya happy... If ya eat and don't pay??? I will be glad ya came... ;)

We will get back the money from what the supplies we cooked,,, and the rest will go to the Mission fund... I am doing this out of need more than anything... We just can not take 65 people into a place on Sunday without blowing it up!!! This way,,, we all can hang out,,, relax,,, eat,,, yack,,, visit,,, look at bikes,,, share more laughs,,, and leave with more smiles... That,,, is why I am doing it... :D

I hope,,, that next year unless we all have to much fun doing it our selfs,,, we will get the local Boy scouts/other group to take this over... We will see what happens... :bigpop:

Ok,,, I am 121% sure this has something to do with me,,, but I have found some names not on the www.moonshine-run.com list for the meals...

How did this happen???

# 1 problem is,,, I had something to do with this...

I had people e-mailing me and I kept forgetting to copy Jody on them when I got the names so,,, Jody had no clue...

# 2 ~~~ Then,,, some posted on a site and I added them on my list,,, but Jody never saw them post as he doesn't hang out on every site the Moonshine Run is on...

How to correct this???

Go to the http://moonshine-run.com/Moonshine/Riders.asp and check out each dinner and see if you are on "The List" for each meal... The Web site list is the Gospel... If you are not on the www.moonshine-run.com list for the meals you want to attend and are wanting to come e-mail me right now and we will get this corrected,,, and have our #s more correctly...
