View Full Version : EC Heated Grips for GL1800 also work for ST1300?

I'm curious. While looking for some initial accessories (us Wingers call them accessories, don't ya know) I came across Electrical Connection's heated grip kit for the GL1800.

It's a plug-n-play installation into the Wings wiring and has a nicer looking switch.

Now, looking at it, it appears this might also work for the ST1300. If, the power plug part of the harness is the same configuration as the one for the Wing... we might have something. On the Wing, the plug for the heated grips is on the right side, near the speaker but there might still be enough wiring left to instead, plug it in to the quartet harnes on the ST.

Any Ideas?

I'll also send an email to Lewis at EC and ask his opinion, I'm sure he wouldn't mind having a heated grip kit for the ST1300 and expand his market a little.
