Ok, it's that time of year again. Vicki and I are all charged up and ready to leave tomorrow. Vicki managed to clear her schedule so looks like tomorrow night we'll be spending in Tucson! I have brand new tires on my bike this time so everyone can rest easy, no running around town looking for tires. Hard to beat another full day of vacation, I took 9 hours of vacation time and I don't have to be back to work until the 19th!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and just so Fred knows....

I have the ST-Owners banner!
(West Coast Chapter)

already strapped to the bike and ready to go. :D :D :D

Stick is back together except for the wind screen and the garnish underneath. I'll be rolling in the morning.

Dana, we'll all be looking for _heat_, not tires, before this weekend is over!

Yep, the weather forecast for Friday looks like the pits but it's supposed to be warmer by Sunday.

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?map.x=120&map.y=128&site=epz

Earlier this week, the forecast was for mid-60's all weekend but now mid-40's on Friday for the high and 50 on Saturday for the high. Hopefully the projected storm will hit farther north and spare us but at least Sunday looks to be nice! Monday and Tuesday are calling for highs around 70! Weird weather.

Sure glad I got the wiring for my electric vest fixed today!

Excellent on getting Stick assembled for the ride George. I'm sure the windscreen won't slow you down much.

Raining here this morning after two straight weeks of perfect weather, go figure! :censored I just hope its not snowing at the summit. I'm also glad I resisted the urge to clean the bike last night.

Well, this affords me the opportunity to remember that last widget I was suppose to pack. :doh1:

Well no wonder I was stranded up here!!!! I don't think I would have seen any good weather all the way down there, and a track day with that kind of weather doesn't seem very appetizing either!!! You folks be careful. My street and the adjacent ones are still ice covered. Even the street that is normally clear with the heavy salting is icy because the salt doesn't work well when it is as cold as is has been.

Actually beautiful here in Tucson this morning (Thursday). Looks like the system has slowed down a little as they're now predicting "SLIGHT chance of SNOW" on Saturday in Deming. :shrug2: What's up with that!?

Ride safe! Nothing like a little mid-winter break to chase the blues away.
