Will the Roady2 work with earphones only or does it require a radio/amp?

My Roady (older model) has a volumn setting within the "Menu" setting. Was plenty loud. However, ...... it a bummer when you have to change the setting often!
Find you a set of ear buds that has a volumn control and set your volumn on the Roady to high.

It works with the earphones for me... It actually sounds better on the bike than in my car....

You can also go by Radio Shack and get an inline amp with vol control for about $10... it uses an AA or AAA battery. I have an inline clipon volume control that came with some headphones I have. :D

This is a nice amp too from what I see and he'll make it with a remote volume knob:
Electric Avenues (http://www.electric-avenues.com/)
Although I don't know anyone that has it, it seems very well construcuted and I think someone should take the plunge. ;)
Don't get me wrong though. The Mix-It kicks *** and John Brown is the best. That's what I run on my bike. The Mix-It allows 4 inputs which is why I like it more but if you only want to run one thing in maybe the Electric Avenues one might be worth a try.

Purchased the MyFi. It works well. The cost was higher but it's a more flexible unit. It mounted up nicely to the MCL brake cover ball mount. So far there's been no need for an external antenna.
