OK you ST guys and gals across the nation and world! March 29th is Mellow's (Joe) birthday. Last year some of us in California and Texas and elsewhere in honor did a RTE to Dairy Queen; Goldwings favorite pit stop. LOL. So this year let's do it again! March 29th is on a Sat. so this should be easy. We'll be meeting at a Dairy Queen near you where we'll feast on ice cream and do a group photo of the Mellow Wave and post them to the forum. I foresee a vast network of like-minded folks doing the same across the country and world (if there are no Dairy Queens like in say London, or Sydney, or Tokyo, or Moscow, or Hong Kong, etc. then a alternative eatery would be in order) getting together on this date and celebrating!

So the call goes out to all ST'ers of the world! March 29th a Dairy Queen ice cream RTE for our reverent leader MELLOW!

I wouldn't sweat the ride as this is more eat than ride. To get all you guys doing a group Mellow Wave shot with the DQ in the background would be seriously cool!

From Brunswick, probably 275-300 miles. If I go through DC to get to VA, it takes me 5-5 1/2 hours to get to 495/95 split if I don't get backed up.

This was for our great leader and founder of the ST-Owners.com forum group and you guys couldn't spring for a little ice cream to celebrate Joe's birthday! Well Joe, now you know who your true friends are! LOL.

All kiddin' aside, it was neat to get together and shoot the bull and have some burgers and cones, and watch the bikini clad gals walking to the beach!

So I rode on down to Carlsbad & had lunch with the wife. Didn't get to see you guys but had a nice lunch & a ride. Traffic was a bear going back to LB also.

well,I didn't make it to DQ,but belated HAPPY BIRTHDAYJOE!!!
Spent the day getting the Wing back together after changing the air filter...
what a PITA!!!
first I forgot the air ducts,and had to remove top shelter,after we put it back together,then forgot a couple screws below the speaker....so we had to take it off again!!!
