Beautiful bike.
One question though? In the photograph of the front view your fender looks like it's a bit off center compared to the tire. It is just the light reflecting off it?
Beautiful bike, :03biker: Enjoy and take care. :D

You're right - it does seem to be low on the right side. Too bad I'm at work - now I'm aching to see in person. If it is low, any idea what may cause that?

Not only low, but she also looks off center as well?
She's a beauty though Ken! :) Condolences on not being able to scare up the quicker "Rowdy Rocket Red" color, but the silver ones are nearly as quick, so no biggie.
Pretty, snappy bike. :hotpepper Let us know on the fender (could the forks be twisted in the triple clamps)? Maybe it’s a photo thingie.

I don't think it's an optical illusion because of the angle of the sun... looks like the fender just isn't installed properly...I zoomed in...
I'm sure Ken is going to appreciate everyone going over his new ride with a fine tooth comb...

You mean to tell me that you DIDN'T ride it to work LOL.
Sorry if I opened Pandora's Box with the fender observation. If you bought it used, you might want to ask the seller or dealer some questions.
Just make sure that it's not the wheel that's off center!
Kurt
Well you can bet I'll be taking a close look when I get home. It's never been down so I'm not certain how it could be skewed like that. Doubtful that the wheel is off center - I would have noticed it in my rides by now.
Well, if it has to go back for some reason, I have 60 days of full warranty from the dealer and 2 years from Honda. No worries :) Thanks everyone - I'll keep you posted.
The wheel is fine but at first glance it appears that one shock is slightly more compressed than the other. The fender is not warped at all. I suppose a quick ride to the dealer to have it checked out would be wise. I need a Service Manual! :) Thanks for the sharp eyes!

I'm glad that everything seems relatively OK! Dealer can probably make a quick fix.

Good catch Curt with that sharp :bow1: eye of yours. I hope it's nothing serious Ken.

That's a really great looking bike :) -
The colour really suits the professional/practical nature of the Pan just right.
(Shame we don't get that "silver" in the UK anymore - ours is more a bright silver now.....)
Excellent bike - enjoy :) :) .
And, I hope to join y'all soon rather looking wistfully at everyone else's Pan's (sorry - ST's....) on here......... :o: :o: :o:

Ken, was the issue with the fendor resolved? If so what was wrong?
Rebel :biker:
The fender was slightly warped for some reason. I balled up a bunch of rags, squeezed them betwen the tire and the low side of the the fender, and let it sit during a weekend the weather didn't let me ride. All is well now. Still wondering how it may have happened since there was no evidence of any other contributing damage.
Updated photo with recent addition of Honda Top Box, spoiler, and Corbin Dual Canyon (close model) seat.

So far. so good. I had a Corbin on my FZ1 last year and like it, a lot. Last weekend I did a couple hundred miles on it and felt fine - no numb butt, legs were fine. Apparently my body prefers a firmer saddle - makes sense I guess since I alos have a firm matress. It does look sharp - that silver welt is perfect on the '03.
Have a trip planned for the weekend of the 24th - that will be a better test.
