If anyone's interested, www.clearalternatives.com has finally come out with clear front turnsignals for our ST1300's. They are about $75.00 and can be had here:

Just a matter of time till I get them. Gotta pay the mortgage first, but then they're mine. Those and www.electricalconnection.com turn signal conversion kit Joe did on his ST will be mine.

I hope they post a pic of what it looks like, I'd buy it if I could see it first...
What is the advantage of clear signals?

None...........
Just for looks really, the bulb lumens does all the work no matter what the lense color.
"the bulb lumens does all the work no matter what the lense color."
I strongly disagree... orange is the universal directional color.
I read in a car mag several years back that the accident statistics for cars using other colors (red, white) were pretty staggering... I won't use anything but orange for directionals, and I won't use orange for anything else. KISS. Who cares how they look, you can't see them anyway!!!

Yea, I really have no desire to look like some 17-year olds civic. What's next insanely large non-functional wings??
Sorry, I do not mean to pick on you but sometimes I think people make products for no othere reason than they can.

Having dealt with the Sport Compact Industry for the last five years I would make one note. Make sure that if you do replace turn signal lenses you do so with a DOT approved lens. They will use the proper type of plastic that will shatter properly if broken.
This is only important in the event of a crash that would result in broken lenses.
DOT approved lenses also seem to hold up a lot better as well (No fading and cracking)
Just an FYI, so you shop better informed.

The signals are still amber, the lens is clear the bulb amber. It just looks different.

Wow, I got mine a long time ago, last year sometime, from here (scroll down near the bottom of the page to see the ST1300:

You will need to get a different bulb in order to avoid the egg yoke look. I don't have a very good photo on file to show you, but at night, from the side, this is what mine looks like on an '06

I just can't see spending that much $$ just to have clear lenses. Yea, it looks good but not at that cost.

It sure looks better with a Chrome bulb so that you do not get a fried Egg look

To each his own. I love mine, but you're right, they're not cheap.

Amber is legal here in the US for turn signals. Chrome is not.

When they operate the amber shines through the chrome.....this is a bling mod .......but it does look nice!

I've got the clear lenses with the stealth bulbs. They do look good, but the stealth bulbs are not nearly as bright as the stock amber lenses. I have the same issue in my RX-8. The chrome they put over the bulbs filters out a fair amount of light. :(

To each his own, but on the black bike, I like the looks of a clear lense over the amber lense. Also, when I have the strobes on, the clear looks much better than the amber.

Well then, that's the coolest thing since hot coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do love those clear lenses and if they were priced at around $30 I'd have a set. I've drooled over those since I first saw them on an ST at our b-fast meet on Saturday a long while back.
I just cannot in any way justify $70 - $75 for two peices of plastic. There's more in the tip over wings and they cost less than $15/each.

 Looking a little cooler for $75.00 is a bargin!.....Heck I was thinking about chroming the rims next!.....the only thing that stops me is the fact the chroming will never stop after that......it will be the drive unit next and then the bars , and then the forks, and so on, and so on

I just love the look of these..it's one of the first farkles I added. I think it gives it an overall clean look.
(And hey, don't we already have the giant non-functional wing as an option for the topbox?)
