Just put on my new Travelcade Stealth seat. I've only done 30 or so miles on it but so far :hotpepper . It is a little wider, alot cushier, doesn't feel like I'm sliding forward like on the stock seat, and gives a bit of lower back support. I think my back will be much happier. With the 3" bar risers I put on (Sampson Sport Touring), I'm in a much better riding position for me- just slightly canted forward, without much weight on my wrists. The relationship with the pegs even seems better. Still gotta get my wifes opinion on the passenger acommodations, so I will update later. Also, the fit and finish is very nice: much better than the Corbin on my other bike, IMHO. So far so good!

That does look good. I was about to pull the trigger on a Sargent seat upgrade for my 1997 ST1100. You have to send in your seat, and they modify it.
A couple of questions:
1. Is the Travelcade a modified ST seat, or a completely new one?
2. How much am I looking at to get one?
Much thanks in advance.

Nope, it't a total new seat and I think they run around $300-350-ish. And, you could have a Russel for just a bit more than that.

The wife and I did about 400 miles on the new seat on Monday. Two thumbs up. She said it was comfy, although by the end of the day, it was nice to get off of it. I was fine- soft enough, with a little bit wider area, and the forward slant is gone. Has a little bit of back support, as well. I like it!

I received my new seat today. Had to adjust the back seat lock to make the seat hold (very minor). Took a short ride and was very pleased with the comfort and position. I really lake the extra back support. 1991 ST1100 Silver.

Hi Hayduke
That is a very nice looling seat. One of the best looking ST seats that I have seen. You said it was soft. I wonder if you would know if it as soft as the mustang regal seat? That is what I have had on my sabre for years and just love it. That regal is so soft I can stay in the saddle all day. I even called Mustang to day to see if they would build a seat for my ST13 and they said no and didnt know if they would ever go that rought, I even ask them if i send a seat pan an cover it for me. They still said NOPnoPnop. So do you thnk it sets as well as any of the mustamg? If so I may go that route. Thanks in advance for you help.

I've got the Travelcade on my ST. I bought the bike used and that's what it came with. I can ride all day and not get sore. If I ever sell to upgrade to a 1300 I would definitely go with the travelcade again.

I agree on the STealth for the ST1100. LaST I looked, they do not make the equivalent for the ST1300.
