I don't understand why the Tom Tom for my car was under $200 but one for the bike runs 2 to 3 times that??????

I use the TOMTOM software in my PDA with a bluetooth adapter. I really like the TOMTOM software. It's easy to use and quick at finding POI's. That is a pretty good deal on the "rider" and it's waterproof.

I wish the Garmin Zumo 550 that I just purchased was at that price. My Zumo did not even include the Cardo Scala Rider headset. I had to purchase it separately.
