Just had to share this bargain I found. Had been looking for riding boots that were also OK to wear to work. Found these and they are really comfortable and still provide decent protection for commuting. Normally $135. Now $50 and are well worth it:

That is a great deal. Bad thing is the sizes are limited to 8, 8.5 and 9. None of which are my size!

That is a great buy! I wear my Icons to work... jeans or slacks... don't care :D

I suppose. But you must tie them, then zip them, then latch the velcro. Sounds like a lot of work to get them on and off.:o:

They must have been popular. They're down to $34.95 and now currently unavailable.

I wore them for about 2-3 thousand miles, mostly commuting miles, and they are very comfortable. They also look acceptable with business casual clothes which is why I purchased them. Yeah, tieing and zippering takes a minute more, but I like having that flap over the laces. I was never to keen on riding boots with laces - going back to days of chain-driven bikes.

Pat, I know you could figure out how to wear a size 8 if you really put your mind to it.

PS Is the solar panel also a moveable wing like on the Chaparral 2E?
