Unbelievable!:(
I was on Yahoo messenger this evening and chatted with Papa! Some of you met him at the Chicago MC show!! I would like to ask that the members of the site to keep "Papa" in your prayers! He is going through a difficult time! While I'd love to explain, and I know you all would like to know what's what, I feel I'm not at liberty to discuss details! Papa's privacy may be important to him so it will be up to him to volunteer why I'm making this request. Also out of respect for him, unless you are a personal friend, I'm not sure how he would feel about us prying into his private life. Please let's just send out an abundance of prayers and give him our silent support.
Thank you all so much in advance for helping me with this!:bow1:
Papa, I hope that I haven't offended you by posting this request! If I have, I'm deeply sorry and will remove the thread if you wish...:shrug2: .
May God bless Papa and his family! May He guide them and give them strength to find their way! May He smile kindly upon them and bring quick closure to this difficult time!:pray1: :pray1: :pray1:

He is in my prayers, as he already knows, I talk to him alot and he knows Rich and I are here for him. I have been thru it before and I know what he is dealing with. We hope everything works out, and he can come to visit at anytime. My door is always open for him.

Thanks Tom. It's not what happens to you, but how you handle what happens to you, that defines you. Hopefully, whatever he's going through, he can get through quickly and if our prayers help then that's great... here are some from Texas so you know they're big.

Papa, please select one of the following
A) If this is a major medical or life affecting issue for you or your family, please accept my sincere well wishes and prayers. I hope we meet again this summer.
B) If this is a lesser illness, or terrible loss affecting you or your family, I know you have the personal strength and positive attitude that will lead yourself and/or family to better times.
C) If this is a very personal life changing crisis like a divorce... well.... uh... Oh yah...........silent support as suggested by Tom.....(and I'll be there at Moonshine to swap stories)
Thanks everyone. Now that our son has been informed, I don't mind sharing the info with you guys. My wife and I, by mutual agreement, have filed for divorce. She gets the house, paid for, I get my 401k. Starting over from scratch at 54 years old is scary, sometimes sleeplessness scary. I have had several offers from friends and family around the country for help and support. I have not yet decided where I will land, but where ever it is I know I will be on two feet. I want to move and a job is the first order of business. The people on this board are unbelievable! Thanks for your concern and prayers.

It won't be easy, but you may end up happy. If you don't have my number it is on the RAN list. If you need anything, give me a call. You are welcome in at least two places in Ohio.

Sorry you are going through this. I know it is hard, too hard. In the thick of it, it is hard to see, but have faith, there are blessings on the other side.

Glen...so sorry to hear about this. I know that there's that empty feeling sometimes....been there, done that and with time you will overcome. Prayers sent from here for all of the family. I wish you the best in your new life and sometimes change is good, as it's been said so many times, everything happens for a reason.
Best wishes, Ed
Thanks to all for your prayers.:clap2: I haven't been on here as much as I used to be. I'm alive 'n' kickin' in south central Missouri. No job yet, well, not one that pays anyway, but I have faith.

Glen - prayers out for you. Have been though 2 of the D's. Not fun, but it does get better. If ya make up to WiSTOC I will lead you on a better run than last year. That and several of your friends will be there too.
Take care and God bless.
