seems like last year Friday was in the 50's, and then saturday was 34 w/ rain/snow/sleet.
If Saturday does pan out to be a nice day, you can bet the local chrome show crowd will be there. Then we all can see how the other half lives, and we'll all have hamburger juice dripping from our collective chins.

Here's what I'm thinking:
Thursday: 75% chance of rain with highs reaching the mid to upper 50's.
Friday: Hold on to your hats folks, as we're having a warming trend today. 25% chance of rain with highs reaching into the mid 60's to upper 60's.
Saturday: A repeat of yesterday with a 35% chance of rain.
Sunday: Cloudy with a bit of haze in the morning. 25% chance of rain with a high of 70 for your ride home...I mean your day. :crackup

This is gonna be fun....
I am starting out in the AM with a high in the 80's, Mesh jacket and Olympia Air Mesh pants.
Gonna see how far north I get before my gills get tired, rain the whole way.
Most of the area north of Memphis is under a Flash flood watch. If people get evacuated, no motels....
So, I may end up coming all the way to Casey tomorrow due to the rain and so on....
If not, looks like a stop near Blythville AR and then a short run the next day, this time with the rain gear and my 3/4 jacket. Saturday pM to Sunday AM looks like liners, Gerbing, balaclava and heavy gloves.
Sunday looks like warming the whole way south until I get back to the 80's
Like wow man deja vu.....
Chris :06biker:

Ladies and gentlemen, you may call me the biggest vertical lip in the world but I am cancelling. Rain, snow, wind gusts to 31mph? It's not worth it for me and I love hamburgers. There's always next year, right? Tell the Moonshine folks to freeze that burger and I'll eat it next year.
Enjoy the day!
Thanks for the effort you and your comrades put into this event.

Putt, Scott and I have an idea for next year! We are going to get a generator and a whole bunch of adapters on 100 foot cords.
Pull into the parking lot at Moonshine, unhook your heated snivel gear from bike power and (for a nominal small fee) hook immediately up to Moonshine shore power cords.
Imagine, it's 38, raining and there is a 30 mph wind from the north but you don't care. Just crank up the heat...
Of course, the first year we actually had this would be the sunny 75 degree day....:p:

Just one question...Did you happen to go to Billings before heading back to TX, and is this what you meant by "getting silly after half a beer"? :crackup
http://www.billingsgazette.net/articles/2008/04/14/news/local/28-naked.txt
Apparently, this is one way of getting someone's attention.
Police in Billings, Mont., were called after a naked man brandishing a handgun ran through a hotel asking for help getting into his room.
First, the man knocked on several doors, then jumped over the check-in counter at the Comfort Inn.
Not surprisingly, police say, the man was intoxicated.
