I went as far as Butte Montana Yesterday and George is right I seen some temps as high as the low forties for a short time yesterday but mostly they were right around freezing or just below. And did I mention snow, it never seemed to stop. The last pass I went over was below freezing by quite a bit so the snow built up on me and my windshield.:snow1: :snow1: :snow1: I must have been quite the sight tooling down the highway amongst all those trucks, ( they kept the road clear for me). No I didn't stop for pics, it was too dam cold to take my heated gloves off.

Yesterday was a great day, I should have rode another 500 to take
advantage of the good weather. I ended up spending the night in Casper Wyoming.

Today was a different story, after watching the weather network last night (no wi-fi to get intellicast) I decided to cut across Nebraska to avoid the bad weather which wasn't supposed to reach there until late afternoon or tonight. Guess what, I probably should have gone further south. As soon as I crossed the state line the snow started and everything went down hill from there.
By about four in the afternoon I couldn't keep up to wiping the snow off my face shield:snow1: :snow1: :snow1: :cus: at speed so I pulled into the first place that showed up a truck stop in the middle of nowhere with a motel next to it.

Vista won't talk to my old Canon camera so I can't post any pics.

I just hope the snow quits long enough tomorrow for me to get out of here. I think my gloves should be dry enough by then.
