Mirror Cover Removal question.

I see the breakaway feature but how do i remove the mirror cover ?

From the rear, tap the cover forward on the outer most edge being carefull to have your other hand ready to catch it. It's held in by three (two top, one bottom) spring loaded pin/receivers. Be carefull when re-attaching that the pins all line up. It is possible to bend the spring tabs on one of the receivers if it's mis-aligned. No biggy to fix, just a pain.
