I was participating in a poker run this weekend for the Depelchin Childrens home. One of the stops was at Pappas on the lake in Conroe/Montgomery. On my way in I saw an :04biker: 04 ST1300 with a Sargeant seat, and a Givi topbox parked there. I never did hunt down the owner.
If it was anybody here, and you live near there, I live just down th road!!!
Lemme know!
danged blue bar hoppers. LMAO!!!

I wish I had been able to go on either of the chapter rides this weekend. I rode with Whizzer when he re-conned the picnic ride, but family responsibilites reared its ugly head. Between work and other stuff, its been pretty busy. I did get out for a spin on Saturday, but jsut a short one.
Hope to see you guys real soon. Rdie safe.

I have a Blue 2004, and have been to that Pappas more than once. But it wasn't me either.
We need to get the Houston area ST's together sometime. I'm in the Clear Lake area.

If someone wanted to throw a meet and eat :eat2: , are there "official" rules that must be adhered to, or is it somewhat casual? Also, would a short, leisurely (Not :squid1: ) ride in the area be appropriate, or are there too many legal issues involved? :amb1:
I'm curious.....

No rules. That's why I don't belong to car or motorcycle clubs. My only rule is try not to run into me :04biker:

Saw that one, and I've got an ACT to administer. The one on 7/23 is Kyla's birthday so I'll be missing that one as well. Depending on when I get out, I may just blast out to Centerville and try to hook up with everyone. Even if I get there late, I can ride back with you guys.

I'd like to make that ride if I am available. Maybe a new post by someone in the know would be good.

It's a forum get together, but a few of us here in the Houston area are going to ride up together... you're more than welcome to join the fun! :)

Are non-forum guys welcome? I have a friend with a FJR that would probably would like to go, but I don't want to ask him if it's a closed party!
Thanks

Is the group meeting at 45 and Sawdust gonna come straight up 45? If so, do ya mind if I swing in just norh of Conroe? Im thinkin theres a good spot around Teas Rd. I could wait and swing onto the freeway and catch up (hey, I do have a blue one...LOL) If thats OK, just watch for a Blue ST with a BIG guy on it wearing a silver CL-max and a black Joe Rocket mesh.

Chris is bringing a guy on a Concours... I don't see this as a problem :) . We are coming straight up 45, so you should be able to swing right on in LJ.
We got us a convoy... :D

No such thing as a closed party... we all have the ST in common here and that's mostly how everyone met however, friendship is the number 1 thing we all have in common... He's welcome at any ride we put together here.

I didn't think it was a big deal... heck, if I'm able to go, everybody can go... LOL!
even (gasp) Wing Riders....('cept they tend to slow things down a bit with all
the stops at the DQ's...... JUST KIDDING!!

My kind of folks! I'm a huge car and motorcycle nut ("nut" being the operative word). I'm am currently big time into Corvettes. I see a lot of snobs into different kinds of vehicles. But my theory is that anyone who is truly an enthusiast is my kind of person - I don't car if they are on a Harley, driving a Mustang or a WRX - I just like hanging out with other enthusiasts.
BTW, the guy I'm hoping can make it normally rides his FRJ when we ride together, but he also has a Varkarie and an Interceptor.

Well, it's not Vette.... but it's cheap and performs and handles surprisingly well for an econo box. I save my testosterone for the Wing which is at just slightly lower levels than when I had the ST...
Sure would have liked to keep both... some say they are too similar to have both in the garage but I'd sure like it.
