Are you talking about Honda Direct Line?
I don't know what Honda Line direct is
Honda Direct line will sell you a 4 year extension for $469, and if you purchase during a major holiday you can take another 10% off. Go here:

Don't throw your money away on extended warranty for a Honda. This is the most reliable bike sold on the planet. The money you spend on that now could be invested and earning interest in a Money Market or CD.
Save that money that you would have spent on the warranty and put it in the bank, then when the Thermostat goes out 3 years and 1 month from now, you can shell out the $150-200 for the repair and stick the rest of what you saved by not buying an extended warranty into a nice Farkle for the ST.
Now. if you were buying an HD, then yes, get the extended warranty, but really, This is a Honda... forgetaboutit..:D

However, if you're putting alot of miles on it, it's a good idea to get it. Think of it like your car insurance, you buy it hoping not to need it. But if you do end up needing it, you'll be glad you have it. The Honda ST is very, very reliable, but (for lack of a better phrase) sh*t can happen.
