All,

This event appears to be getting popular! It looks like we will have close to 50 attendees.

Since my place is on a Cul-de-Sac *and* on a hill, parking for the BBQ dinner I am hosting might be a concern, but should be manageable with a bit of effort (IE: Make sure you aren't blocking someone's drive way, etc).

Also, I've mentioned to my neighbors that we will be having this event (and have told them to spread the word that they are all invited), but I want to make sure everyone is courteous and keeps the general area clean and problem free.

Please monitor this thread, as I will update it with the address of the dinner along with general parking instructions soon.

If attendance continues to grow for next year's event, I'll move the BBQ down to the lake. There is plenty of parking there under the shade of the trees, etc.... :)

See you all soon!

Thanks for the heads up Dan. I think I'll try to get there early so I can park right next to your ST again this year. Is that parking on the lot next to yours open again this year? That sure would help.

Nope, that house now has residents.... however, there might be extra parking farther down that private road if the house on the end is still vacant.

I am planning to head up Friday night to complete the preparations on the house...I'll post back after.

Do you need any assistance with the preparations Dan? I'll be happy to come up and help.

Hi Dana,

Thanks for the offer. I think everything is going ok and under control.

I need to do some weed abatement and fix a cracked pipe for the sprinkler system, clear the ground drains and sweep the brush....odds and ends. :)

Thanks again for the offer. I'll take you up on it at the BBQ though.....we'll likely need some crowd control.... :D
