I recently returned from a two week trip that included getting a Russell seat made. I like it a lot. It would have cost $410+$80 Ride-in fee, but I decided to have the pillion seat covered to match. So the total came to $626 with tax and ride-in fee. It has leather inserts and vinyl sides. Here's what it looks like:

Phil,

Have I got a deal for you... I will trade you, even up, your new
seat for a slightly used, (but in excellent condition) a Sigma BC800
bike speedometer (without the average speed feature).

SUCH A DEAL!!!

Phil, over the years I've been fooled into buying a lot of aftermarket accessories that turned out to be nothing more than crap. I was reluctant to get the Russell. After all, it's probably the most expensive seat available. The seat has surpassed all expectations. Customer service has been great and fit is nothing less than perfect. The odd look of the seat has even begun to grow on me. :D

I have to let the world know about Russell. I purchased a Russell and it was delivered the week of the IBA gathering in Omaha. The ride to Omaha was great. The next 10 days were spent doing the 48+ to Hyder AK. At no time during the entire trip did I experience any seat, leg or back discomfort. They got it right the first time and I'm glad they did. The best money I ever spent.
