Hi All,

I have had a few PM'd messages regarding group rides and address questions so I wanted to address this here.

I attended WeSTOC last year and liked the format. Let people choose their own rides and groups....it worked very well...so we are following the same format.

The only group ride that I will be leading will be the one at 8am on Saturday morning. The route in posted in a Garmin file in the main information sticky. Since there are so many attending this year, we'll likely meet up at the 7/11 or Goodwins Market (both are across from Lake Gregory).

We'll likely be leaving at 8am and the main route will be an all day ride (with various stops along the way). It will likely be ~250 miles and we should be back at my cabin by 4pm so I can start the BBQ.

Even though I have hired a person to prep the food, I'll likely ask for a couple volunteers for various duties (name tags, making sure people get their shirts, etc).

A note about my cabin:

I'm located in a small, quiet cul-de-sac. I have friendly neighbors and have done my best to spread the word that we are having a BBQ Saturday evening and that people will be coming and going on motorcycles. I'd like to ask that you respect them and do your best to find parking that doesn't create a problem for people trying to get in their residences.

I'd also like to ask that, during the BBQ, you park in a way that maximizes space for other's to park.

Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the BBQ.

Oh....and one more thing:

Solototocoyote has donated a gift pack for the raffle. This deserves special mention because after asking various managers at his dealership, and being turned down, he spent the time and money out of his own pocket to assemble and donate the following:

Gallon of Golden Spectro 10w-40 oil
K&N oil filter
can of Plexus
can of Honda Polish
can of Maxima SC1 (stuff works great on the matte black)
can of Maxima Cleaner/Degreaser (works great on getting road grime off the rims)
a $25 gift certificate good at Callaway (so the winner can select their choice of oil)
one Callaway T-shirt (or bike rag :D)
and two Callaway Keychains.

Remember: You must be present at the BBQ, during the raffle to claim your prize, or it will just go to the next name drawn.

He didn't have to do this so make sure when you see him at the event that you give him a pat on the back and a big thank you!!

Thanks all,

<D>
PS: My cabin's address (and the address of the BBQ) is:

Wow, what's up with that SoloTotoCoyote dude? I'll have to see if he wants to adopt me!

Just a thought Dan, but I believe this will be the last year you will be able to have the BBQ at your cabin. As this event gains traction, seems that it will have to be moved to the park or something.

You sure know how to throw a party and I'm so looking forward to being there to help and see everyone!

Thanks for the heads up on the parking Dan, hope we can squeeze everyone in. I'll do what I can to help control the madness.

I think everything will be fine.

Next year, I'll look into the Camp sealy thing or at least having the BBQ at the lake....

Sorry......but I'm still currently trying to get myself adopted by some rich family. I'm going to have to try a different angle though, the "Mostly House-broken" approach isn't working. :D

Just a small request to whomever feels like it........

We had two companies donate for the CreSToc raffle, and although I did thank them for doing so, I think it might mean a bit more if they were to hear it from you guys as well. There's only 2. Not looking for anything major, just send them a quick, short email just saying "thanks for donating" or something similar. This might help when next year's CreSToc comes around and I go fishing for donations again. :D

Item Donated: Gallon of Golden Spectro Oil
Donated by: Tom Dalen @ Advantage Performance Distributing
Email: sales@advantage-on-line.com

Items Donated: 10 Gift Certificates
Donated by: Jim Greer @ California Speed Dreams (He's the owner)
Email: jim@fixmymotorcycle.com

Thanks, everyone.
