Hello,

I'm french man.
I'm very interested about Ceebailey windshield.
does it possible to have picture of the shield mounted on the motorcycle for view the shield better (for example: shield down, front, left, bottom, top).
I bought a clearview shield with adjustable vent (gt medium) last year, but I sell it three month ago.
I hope that everybody understand me and sorry for orthography.

Great site.

Thanks for all

Can you be specific about what you want to see.

Last year Ceebailey recommended me a 2" taller and 4" wider. But I bought
Clearview because Craig is a President who's very accesible and I have read
some people are not satisfied about the quality of the shield (Ceebailey), and vent will begin to whistle at around 85mph. If I hit 100 or more it'll be a windy screamer. Does it true? The picture I see, feel like Ceebailey shield is most flat
in center section and the shape closed to rider from each extremity. Does it right? It's why I would like some picture of shield from front side, right side, top side, etc..., in order to see more exactly shape.

Thanks for yours answers.

Never heard a whistle from my CB shield. I have been up to 125 and I go 80-85 indicated on the major highways all the time. I have since modified the shield venting, but it was as delivered for 16 months.

As for the shape of the shield, ALL shields are constrained by the mounting brackets for the shield. Therefore in between the brackets all shields will be very similar, if not identical. The CB website has a pic of their shield from the side. Of course how far back the shield trailing edge is depends on how wide the shield is. My shield is +6W and I can take a photo when I get home with the shield laying flat on the ground.

This is an overhead shot of a +6 wide, stock height CB shield. Best I could do.

Frenchy,

This is the only pic I could find on my computer. I'm sorry, I would go take several views and put them up on this site but my bike is in the shop waiting for parts to repair the dreaded coolant leak.

As far as noise made by the vent...I've never heard any whine or screech, I've been up to 110Mph with no noise other than normal wind and an occasional YAAHOOO!

Curt,

My avatar still had the stock shield on the bike.

Stock height, and plus 4 inches in width, side and rear all the way up, as well as a couple from the front with the shield all the way down. Hope this helps.

Can you get a Clearview shield, stock hight or shorter, with that adjustable vent I saw on ST Frenchy's bike ? That looked pretty slick. I have tried Calsci's medium shield and liked the vent, but not the hight. I have no idea how you guys cut these things down. I, actually, think the stock shield is a pretty good shield, but it needs cat eye cutouts or some type of venting, if I could get a shield with an adjustable vent, all the better.
