one ST :04biker: , one hardley abelson, and one road star, made for a pretty good ride.
we met near the 14 fwy and palmdale bl. looking for another rider.we decided to head east to check another location for that rider but we couldnt find him. so we all decided to have breakfast in wrightwood because we were now heading east anyhow.
we were blessed by the road gods as we had very little traffic to contend with up the mountain road, well, come to think of it we did'nt pass one single car and only saw one sport rider. the weather was typical calif (sorry guys, had to put that in) about 70 degrees with a clear clean road. breakfast with friends on bikes, it just does'nt get any better than that :D
after breakfast we decided to head over to the rock inn in lake elizabeth, aprox 50mi away. now the cars were out in force, but after shedding the traffic heading thru the city of palmdale the ride into lake elizabeth was fast and curvey :) :) lots of hardleys at the rock inn, talked to a guy named joe on a fjr. who just moved here from n.y. he said he likes our roads best!!!
after a coke and some onion rings we now headed west toward lake hughs.
another fast curvey :D road to castaic then head home. ride time with breakfast and gas stops was about 7 hrs. i didnt set my odo but my buddy on the road star said we cliked off right at 200mi. i cant verify that though.all in all a mellow fun ride in great, no make that perfect weather!! by the way i can guarantee the :04biker: bike was the fastest :D
