Made it here in Crestline around 10:30am. The motel won't let me check in till 1pm, OK... So I went and found Dan's cabin. A few twists up the hill and there's the West Coast banner! Woo hoo! But nobodys home. Door is open so I walk in and see WHAT A VIEW!!! Nice! So back down the hill and stop at the lake to check it out. Pretty! Surrounded by pines and mountains with families fishing on the shores. I hang for a bit and then go to the Loose Caboose to meet Tom from Arizona for lunch. There he is! With his shiney 2007 silver ST. We eat a nice lunch, talk about the ride and then head over to the motel and chech in.

Now I'm just kicking back watching TV and probably take a nap before the BBQ tonight.

What great place to be relaxing in the alpine pines... snoooooozzzzzeeeee... LOL.

Nothing like having a couple of drunks fighting outside your motel room at 1:30am to put a cap on a perfect evening!

Dan did a great job hosting Crestoc, and his burgers were some of the best I've ever had! I had a great time with guys and gals I know and meeting new friends is the best!

Dan certainly gets my vote for MOTM!

Also had a great time at Crestoc. Everything was well planned and went perfectly. Dan was a great host. The burgers were the best and I would agree on a vote for Dan being MOTM. Thanks for a great weekend!

So back to the thread at hand...

Got home today riding with Dana and his wife Vicki. A very quick and nice slab ride. That was fun Dana! CreSTOC '08 was a great success! Dan's cabin, organizational and culinary skills were exemplary! Adam did a great job doing the raffle and is a very funny guy! He contributed stuff also. Hats off Adam!

I got to meet some of the guys I only knew from posts on the board and that was one of the highlights for me! Capt. Gruuvy! You're a cool dude! LOL.

The motel I stayed in, well how can I put this... IT SUCKED!!! Stay away from Sleepy Hollow Motel if you ever find yourself in that neck of the woods. The mattress was like sleeping on a box spring and the pillows were from Aunt Maggie's hand-me-downs! Not to mention being waken by two drunks duking it out in the AM!

I've never seen so many ST's in one place before, except maybe WeSTOC last year. Cool! I shot video of most of the event and will be putting together a mini-documentary in the next week or two. Stay posted!

Seeing Yuma Bob and Arizona Bryan was great. You two guys are some of the best of the forum. Always look forward to hanging with you guys!

And oh yeah! The CRE-STOC Tee's are totally bee-achin'! LOL.

Made it safe and sound around 3pm this afternoon. Decided to take the LONG way and ended up covering over 350mile with only about 50 of that on the slab. Wonderful topper to a great event.

Dan you truly are a class act. Thanks for all the hard work
