Well, I just got back from the CreSToc BBQ and it was an absolute blast. I have to say that the ST-Owners.com has to be one of the best groups I've ever had the pleasure of being involved with. I want to extend a HUGE thanks to the host, Dmulk, for a great time, great food, and awesome shirts. Seriously, this thing rocks. It was fun getting to talk to other members and finally meeting the people behind the screen names and avatars. I wish I could have ridden with you guys but I definitely will be next year.

Ride safe everyone. See you all out on the road.

What Adam and Tom both said! :D

Like Adam, I wasn't able to go on the ride, but will make it a point to be in all the "activities" next year! It was great meeting a bunch of you up there, I'm sure glad I was able to make Pizza night and the BBQ (Dan GREAT Hamburgers! :eat2:

Dan had a great turnout for this and because I forgot my camera, I could only take them with my cell phone, so I only got ones of the parking! :(

While coming down the mountain, I came across a flatbed wrecker just finishing up loading a motorcycle, on its side. Because the underneith was all that was showing, I couldn't tell what kind of a bike it was, so I turned around to make sure it wasn't an ST1300, and it wasn't..it was a squid (he was there, so he wasn't hurt) on a sports bike. :o:

I hope everyone has a great ride home and watch out for white delivery vans! :(

Vicki and I arrived home safe and sound at around 11:45am.

All I can do is add my 2 cents worth in with the rest. It's pretty much been said. Couldn't ask for a better location for a STOC event; Crest line, CA was absolutely beautiful and the weather couldn't have been better. It was so good to meet some new people and especially cool to see some Nevada and AZ folk out! You guys ROCK!

I thought the raffle was a nice touch and I can't thank Adam enough for supplying all the nice gifts and hooking us up with a couple of vendor's that like to take a chance on getting new business.

I checked the condition of my tires when I got home and it looks like I will be needing a new set of skins sooner vice later. Somehow I managed to use up a lot of tread depth on the sides of the tires this weekend. Did anyone else notice this phenomenon?

Well I got home safe and sound rolling into my backyard about 6:30 PM after leaving Crestline after breakfast this morning. :D

Everyone knows I can't seem to find the shortest distance between two points. :crackup

This has been a really great weekend and I would like to thank everyone who was there and everyone who supported it for making it so great.

THANK YOU ONE AND ALL! :bow1:

Hey All!

What a great time this weekend. Many Kudos to Dmulk, who gave life to this event and whose generosity made the event this weekend so much fun! Thanks Dan!

Got home early this afternoon, after another scenic and fun ride down 38. On the way down the Mtn. I saw another rider down on the pavement -- not an ST. His bike was banged up but he looked "OK" in the sense that he was up on his feet and breathing, with no apparent injuries.

Nice to meet you all. And again, many thanks to Dan for his generosity and hard work.

Mandel.

All I can offer is my heartfelt thanks to all of you who worked so hard on this event. CreSTOC '08 was my first STOC event, but after meeting everyone there, it certainly won't be my last. You made 'the new guy' feel completely welcome.

To Dan and all the rest who did so much and made the event look absolutely effortless, thank you. You should be very proud of your accomplishments.

Hey all,
Thanks to everyone that turned out this weekend! I have to say you guys and gals are the classiest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. A big thanks to my brother for having us all up, to Adam for pulling money out of his pockets for the raffles, and to everyone else that rode with me in the slower group at the back of the pack! Byron, thanks for hanging with me, I had a blast and I'm already looking forward to next year.
Oh and on the ride down the mountain Sunday morning I thought I was riding rather well until Dan passed by me like I was standing still. You guys can really move on those ST's but I didn't think it was possible to drag a knee! Thanks for showing off Dan! = )

Finally made it back home after a long weekend. I decided to head down to Julian after CreSTOC and explore. Great area. Just wanted to say what a great time I had at CreSTOCK meeting everyone and the group ride was a lot of fun too. A BIG thank-you to Dan and all other people involved in putting together, a job well done! I have never seen so many STs in one place. What I thought was cool was that even though they were all the same model not one was the same. Stay safe and I hope to meet up with you guys soon again for a ride.
