http://www.st-owners.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=31585&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1212413625 I got some GREAT comments about
Joe from members here so I had to
choose him based on those.
He hasn't been on the site long
but that doesn't mean you can't
get picked for MOTM.

From Joe himself:
I grew up riding a bicyle everywhere I went. I was pretty daring and there
were not to many weeks that I did not have some bumped elbow or
scrapped knee.
My first bike was a Suzuki RM80. I used to race my cousins down the
wooded trails in Southern Oregon. Due to many circumstances, I never
bought the 125 I wanted. I probably would have killed my self if I would
have gotten a bigger bike at the time.
My first street bike was a 1986 Yamaha XT600 which I bought so I could
commute over the Coronado bridge in the car pool lane and not have to
pay the toll. I rode that bike for several years, on and off the street.
During that time, a friend then let me ride his 1999 VFR and I was hooked.
In early 2002, I bought a 2000 VFR from an ex-Marine in Phoenix, AZ with
15,000 miles on it. That summer, I took a 16,000 mile trip around the US
(and some of Canada).
During that trip, I met a ST1100 rider who also I had a VFR. I started
looking at the ST's at that point but wasn't really interested. The VFR
could do everything I wanted: comfortable to ride and great in the
twisties.
I got married in 2003, and that summer, I took my wife for a week long
camping trip on the VFR. She didn't complain, but the VFR was just a little
too small for both of us.
I found a used 2003 ST1300 with just under 13,000 miles on it in time for
our next trip. Both of us love the ST and we have been on at lest one week
long camping trip every year.
I still have the VFR, which I ride almost daily. It now has over 75,000 miles
on it. The ST spends a fair amount of time in the garage in between trips
and only has 26,000 on it.
I've really enjoyed participating on this site and meeting some fellow
ST'ers. It's been a blast. Stay safe and ride smart.
