http://www.st-owners.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=31587&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1212414990 I created a new award. Intended for those
that are very new and made a big impact
on the members here.
Adam is the 1st recipient of this award
and I'm sure everyone would agree.
Congrats on the Award!
From Adam himself:
I’m at a lost for words.
I feel a bit conflicted. Part of me wants to express a heart felt “thank you”
and the other part doesn’t believe I’ve done anything of merit to deserve it.
When I joined the website, I had just bought my ST and was just doing
what I always do with my motorcycles; learn as much about them as
possible.
I didn’t join in the dealer capacity with thoughts of promoting the
dealership where I work. I joined as just another ST rider. But as I started
reading through the many threads, I couldn’t help but respond to certain
ones. As a rider, I hate to see another rider in distress and will always try
to help however I can.
In my interactions on this site, I don’t think I’ve
done anything more than any one of you would have done. And in a few
instances, I’ve done nothing more than what any dealer should be
expected to. So while in my mind I don’t think I’ve done anything special
to deserve this honor, I respectfully and humbly give a very heart felt
“thanks”.
Looking forward to the opportunity to meet and ride with you all.

Joe, what a kool idea! And to a deserving person! :clap2:
I feel that I have probably benefited the most from Adam's service and really do say, "Job well done!" For him to get my bike back to me within 2 1/2 weeks after my accident, is remarkable feat within itself! He kept telling me that he wanted to have it ready for CreSTOC, and then gave me the honor to lead our little group up the hill to the CreSTOC BBQ! :biker:
Congrats Adam! :1st:
If a n00b gets an award, is he no longer a n00b? :shrug2:
Congrats on your n00bness! :bow1:

Bobbi and I were talking about what a considerate young man you are...I can say that because you keep calling sir :D and you most diffently deserve this award, it could not have gone to a better person.
BTW, you can call me Tony from today forward :p:

Congrats, Adam. Sometimes the new kid on the block dangles his toes in the water for a while. You didn't waste any time jumping right in! Your insights as well as your advocacy are greatly appreciated. I hope your dealership and ultimately Honda recognize and appreciate just how much good will you are creating for them. Cool! Very cool indeed.

Congrats Adam, your tales from the other side of the counter are great reading.
I think instead of Newbie award, maybe it should be called the Coyote award (or something similiar)?? In honor of it's first recepient. Just my nickel's worth. (it is actually a 2 cent opinion, the other 3 cents is tax.)

OK, first and definately foremost, Congratulations, Adam. Joe waited to do this when he knew I couldn't be on the 1st page of accolades. Two things: I enjoy the posts you either start or give a good answer to. Unfortunately, when I'm on the road there are a lot of posts I don't open, there posts you are invoved in that I don't read. Again congratulations. And Joe, just another reason this is the best family on the net.

Congrats...I have enjoyed reading many of your posts, esp the Tales behind the counter. Too bad I don't still live in San Diego so we could go riding sometime, but who knows maybe we'll cross paths one day.
Also, even though I haven't yet encountered the seemingly common thermostat failure on my ST...really appreciate you carrying the flag on this one.
Again...congrats!!

haha, I just came across this post, and, its kinda funny, because I was thinking about how popular Adam is already, and to put it in some kind of context, all I could come up with was the movie "Shawshank Redemption".
there was the character, "Tommy", played by Gil Bellows, you all remember, the 50's rockabilly guy. He comes into this hard *** prison, and EVERYONE likes him right away. Too bad the warden kills him off. So, Adam, my best advice to you is, DUCK every now and then...
haha
seriously, you're a funny guy, and a welcome addition to the site.
