I really like these gloves. At first I didn't... didn't like strapping on the gloves under the wrist, didn't like the way they felt holding onto the bars. Was used to 100% leather I guess. Now after riding a couple of weeks with them on, I really like them. Keeps the hands cool... no bunching on the palms, very comfortable. :D
Yes I would buy them again... ~$30 USD.

Yes there will be no bragging about anything purchased until you provided a link/URL to the bragging item. ;)
I'm looking for a lightweight pair of rain gloves but have yet to find anything that is snug, insulates from the cold of rain, and is waterproof. Are these gloves waterproof but breathable?

These gloves look very nice. I may have to get a set. They do not appear to be waterproof, but still a good buy I think.

My bad :bow1: ... they are NOT waterproof... they have a mesh top... very cool for the TX summers... :D Got them from HDL for $31.49 free shipping (bought other stuff too)... the pic on HDL is not what you are getting. The link below is what you are getting... :D

I second the positive review. I just bought a pair of GX Air Gloves and am very pleased. I was using a pair of Olympia summer gloves that I had no confidence in protection-wise. The Cortechs are pretty tough and the air does flow right through them. I'm tough to fit as I have large hands and long thumbs. Their XXL (size 12) fit pretty well, and my thumb doesn't bottom out like with most other gloves. They're just about as comfortable as my Held Hawks, but MUCH cooler.

I third the positive review. I got a pair after reading about them. I got mine at Bob's Cycle Supply. I find them wearable even when pretty hot very bearable. They also seem to fit very well. They are my favorite gloves now.

Add me to the list too. Rob recently raved about them in another post about the Tourmaster GX Air jacket and I was able to find a pair on eBay for $30. Have been wearing them for nearly 2 weeks now and they are fantastic. Much better than the Joe Rockets I had been wearing.

I have these... Uninsulated and waterproof... Very rare to find both together but a good pair for summer wet riding days...

I've got the red ones and find they are ok for riding in the wet. Respectable for riding in the hot and dry as well.
Anybody got any stories about crash-worthiness? I don't want to find out the hard way.

I've had the gloves and jacket for over a year. Exactly what I was looking for and have been great over the entire time. I have always had a problem with the die of black gloves bleeding onto my hands when they sweat. The Cortech's do that but only a little. You almost can't tell.
The jacket is great. It offers a greater area of armor than a lot of jackets and may lose some of the cooling in those area's but it's hardly any loss of wind. Very nice quality IMO

Another option for uninsulated, waterproof are the H20 Tec gloves from Roadgear:

I haven't used them in a really long, really wet ride, but in short downpours, and longer rides in light rain, they've worked very well.

My right glove is starting to fray a little on the thumb side... not really bad, but I notice it :rolleyes: I guess it rubs a little... need to move my hand out some. They are still nice and comfy... real cool in the heat. :)

I love my Cortech jacket!
Anyone ever tried these Tourmaster/Cortech gloves:
--> Accelerator (http://www.tourmaster.com/product.html?sku=85-150)
--> Comp Carbon II (http://www.tourmaster.com/product.html?sku=83-201)
I want something that offers max protection but isn't super hot. I sweat a lot. Especially here in Tex. :(
