All
Need your input.
My top box arrived and I have installed it. Yes, I like it.
To mount the box I had to remove the backrest, which had been drilled for the CB antenna.
Where are people with top boxes mounting their CB antenna's?
I assume I'll have to have some kind of bracket made.
I also now need a place to mount my satellite radio antenna.
TIA

I took a piece of flat bar and drilled one hole for the antenna and another for bolting it to the Givi plate that the box attaches to.
I mounted xm antenna to my topshelf.

Being somewhat "fabrication-challenged" and short on tools I contacted http://www.blm-accessories.com/ . They made up a nice one for me and are now considering coming out with them as an out-of-the-box solution to market to the ST1300 world. If you are like me and don't want to deal with mutliple runs to hardware stores you might give them a shout.

Go to the home center and get a piece of flat aluminium barstock, 1" x 3/16" or so and a couple of longer bolts, stainless steel preferred.

See the following picture. Bear bells are optional. Aluminium is easily worked with regular hand tools. Very little skill required, I'm living proof of that. :D

Any chance you could post the doc here? Some of us are restricted by proxies.
