Rode to SOLVANG, Ca. then on up the coast to SAN SIMEON over memorial weekend. This is the trip that has me selling my 2002 shadow sabre and getting the ST1300. I was riding with BMW's, Wings, etc. and saw how comfortable these guys were on bikes made for long trips. After reading about how the bike performs from you guys, I don't think I will miss the sabre

and I'm sure the inmates here will agree... you for certain... will be happy you chose to set the Sabre free.

Ride with the stock seat for awhile, as some people do fine with it. Don't be in shock though if you decide an after market seat is for you.

It was the cherry on top of the ice cream for me.
