Not going to spend alot of time in explanation but, I want to get this out there to anyone to be aware of how bad service can actually be. I'll list them below:
Tire change: 10/2005 $150.00, 10/2006 $100.00 & 10/2007 $180.00. Now that is 2.5, 2.0 and 3.0 hours accordingly. I challenge them on this and they claim that each time it is different.
Last year for rear wheel bearings. They call me up and tell me on the routine maintenance that they require replacing at a cost of $280.00. Thanks to you folks I counter with "It's a warranty item". They said nope it is normal wear and out of pocket. I tell them to get ahold of Honda and they don't call me back. Next call is my bike is done. I ask them and they said it was warranty. So basically they are trying to double dip here with both me and Honda. I ask them for the valve specs as well and get a "What valve specs", said it's on the order, we forgot that. I said what were the previous specs, uhhh we don't have that. :bsflag: So on the last service they changed the tires that I supplied and flushed the break fluids for $407.47 (thought you needed a mask to do that).
Needless to say I am sick of confronting these clowns. I have an extended warranty that is pretty much useless around here as a result. But I wanted to post this to make folks aware of this in Michigan.
