Just got my new 05 racing red ST 2 days ago and loving it so far. Have already met acouple of guys form the board at an MTF SS100 event here in London Ontario.
My first wuestion at this time as I beginj to accessorize my bike is what are the available tank bags that people find work on the ST1300. I saw several Givi's but am not sure what prduct number or name they were. Any assistance on this wouold be greatly appreciated. Have ordered my risers, grip heaters, top box so far and stil a few more to go.

How big a bag do you want? I just picked up one of these and love it for day to day small stuff quick access. Zero bar interference.

And I use an Oxford 2bag expandable system for fully loaded long haul multiday rides. Moderate bar interference.

I am using this small oxford bag. Its big eniugh to hold what I need like smokes, keys, wallet and stuff.
Check out the magnetic River Road tank bag in the Tucker Rocky catalog. It's 2 bags in 1. The top zips off for those short rides and zips back together for long trips. Lots of storage.

The Bestest one???
My Opinion???
Luggage Locker!!! (http://www.luggagelocker.com/luggage-tank-locker.htm)
It does not touch your tank,,, at all...
It is the perfect size for the ST...
The company made the version for the ST special,,, and did a GREAT job...
Easy on,,, easy off... Takes 3 seconds to put it on,,, and lock it... 3 seconds to unlock it and take it off...
It locks on so it makes getting it stolen while eating less of a worry...
Here is one on the Victory that is postioned the same as the ST...

I am 100% happy with it...

Hey Dave. Welcome to the site. It was great meeting you. I know that you will enjoy the :biker: It looked great at Viceroy parking lot. As you will see on the Canadian site, I went for a bit of a trip to Guelph then came back. I too was looking for a tank bag, but I think that I will order the Honda Box and see if I need a tank bag after that. Hopefully we can go for a ride someday. Maybe we'll get the other ST's in London too.

Hi Dave
Nice to meet you yesterday. Welcome to the club.
Here's the bag I have. Good quality. No problem with the bars but it couldn't be any bigger. Not water proof - comes w/ a rain hat. Good bag, but haven't had much to compare it to either. Price seemed right.

There's a company in Winnepeg that makes great tank bags. I beieve the name is Moto Pak. Their phone number is 1-866-809-5183. Either the GT-27 or GT-35 are great looking bags, and the cost isn't bad either. The GT-30 is $89.00 US, so not sure what you would pay.
