MOST EXPENSIVE CAMPING???

OK I was thinking of going to Gettysburg PA next weekend. The KOA there says their Tenting rate is $41.95!! That is by far the most expensive camping I've run into yet. Camped last year about 30miles away for $18..

Key West had some expensive camping. We camped on the mainland for a lot less.

On average it's about 10-20 per night. Usually split between 2 tents.

You are coming in the prime season for Gettysburg. It does not surprise me at all. I would try and get outside of Gettysburg proper

Gail and I paid $37.95 with my KOA discount (10 per cent) in Gallup NM. They didn't have picnic tables at their RV sites and we got our money back and went to Grants and paid $22 for a much nicer site.
