Dean!! Congrats on making the site. I had just about given up.

Sorry about the flat, but thank you Kennedy Motorcycles for being there to help.

About that speeding!! :cop2: You are one lucky guy.

Just so every one knows this site was at the end of Avila Beach Pier. You can drive your bike right to the end of the pier. Very cool this time of year!

Oh, I'm not feeling slighted. Just curious in case I get the chance to grab one...don't want to unfairly move the tag area. But if everyone's okay with a little play, I may try it when the opportunity presents itself.

I don't think anybody's trying to lay down exact lines, but we were chatting about the SoCal/CenCal/NorCal lines here http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42795&page=2

I think it's a good idea to divide them up somewhat so as to allow more people to play more frequently. If California was one big tag area, it might be harder for some people to play. Imagine being in NorCal and riding 500+ miles to get a TAG, just to find out somebody beat you to it. And some members just may not have the funds or time for a ride that big. They'd have to wait for the TAG to get brought back up up north. Looking at how active the SoCal TAG is, that could be a while.

As far as being from outside the TAG area, who cares.....go for it. Just keep the tag within the play area for the particular TAG. Heck, the SoCal TAG was shuffled by a member from Arizona in the middle of the night.

Attaching worked.

The first version of the problem photo showed "0" bytes when I moused over it. Resaving with PhotoShop resulted in a jpg showing nearly 100k. That one attached without issue.

Thx,

I don't think so, at one time the CenCal and NorCal were only about 50 miles apart.

Not really. I asked before and nothing was ever delineated.

I thought I showed some restraint when I tagged near Cold Spring Tavern up in Santa Barbara County. It would've been easy enough to bring it down to Ventura or LA Counties. I already have some good locations in mind down here, so next time it'll be no mercy!

Yes, and i hate going into cities. I rode 250 miles yesterday on backroads and avoided lots of towns, too.
To get to this one i would have to ride over Altamont or Pacheco pass, or for extra credit over Mt. Hamilton. It's raining pretty good here now.
