Leaving the Twin Cites on 7/1 heading to SW Nebr to visit my Mom for a few days, do some riding around that part of Nebr, then on the Northern Colo for a day or so.

Then it will be Wyo to Billings and after a couple of days, head to Redlodge, MT for BearSTOC, and from there to the Black Hills and back to MN.

I can't wait to get on the road and let the pressures of work go with the wind, stay off the super slabs, and enjoy this great cournty that we have to ride in.

This will be my first long trip on the ST and think its going to be the best yet. Have taken several long trips out west when I had the 98 Wing, but the ST is so much more fun to ride, as if I had to tell any of you that.

After riding most of last Sat in the rain, I'm ready for just about anything. I was amazed at how stable the ST felt, and what a great job the HT air pants did keeping me dry. I didn't have the liner in and the only place I got wet was in the crouch area. Maybe at my age I should think about using Depends. :p:

After the BRP, hitch over to Nashville area and catch the Natchez Trace Parkway south. Same as the BRP...no trucks, advertising, stops every 10 miles or so.
Further afield, the San Juan islands in Puget Sound, the ride up Vancouver Island stopping at Strathcona prov. Park, ferry up the inland passage to Prince Rupert, over to Jasper on the Yellowknife highway, and south to Baniff via Lake Louise. Most scenic I've ever seen in 250,000mi on two wheels!
