With my past history,,, :hyp1: :nuke1: :crackup

I decided that I would take some Long Distant riders advise and signed up for this... $225 for a year,,, and $25 to get your bike home...

I think that it is a great idea. I hope that it is the best $225 per year that you do not use.

A couple of years ago, several friends of mine signed up for this for their cross-country ride. They were able to get a group rate, and only for a specific time frame - for the time frame of the ride. It was extremely reasonable, given the cost of being air-lifted out of a remote area, and getting your bike back home too. They felt it was the best insurance they've ever had.

I don't need any insurance like that. When I get almost killed, its right out in front of the Hospital I work at and a friend comes and gets my Bike.
