Brother-in-Law Down

My brother-in-law went down on Sunday 6-22. This is what I know: He was out riding with several friends in NE Iowa. He somehow lost control when he hit gravel that had washed out onto the paved rode. He estimates that he was traveling about 40 to 45 MPH. His jacket keep most of the rode rash off, but he had just removed his gloves and put them in his tank bag. He has some rash on the back of his hand. The big issue is that he has 6 broken ribs. PTL that none punctured his lungs. He thinks that he will be released from the hospital today, but he sounded very tired and/or weak yesterday. I know that he and all of his family would appreciate your prays. He has ridden bikes all of his adult life. As far as I know, this is the first time that he has gone down. He rides an 05 ST. Bike condition is unknown.

Glad to hear sounds like he came thru with minimal injuries. Could have been worse. Let him know we are keeping him in our thoughts.
