I just saw this on another list. Greenfield is less than an hour from me.
I knew nothing of this. DUH!
I will have to think about this event for next year.
I don`t know if my back would hold up for 1000mi. in 24hrs.

Ah, the ST1100 ... the IBA's favourite bike !

Well once upon a time, anyway ... now there's all manner of bikes there but Clem Salvadori (Rider mag) bought a 2002 a few years ago instead of the '03 that was coming out ... good man Clem ! :biker: :D

It was indeed an excellent event and I'd encourage anyone to join next years. Excellent fun.

I don't suppose the 'incident' being referred to is the one where a family of 'oriental' folks parked their car across the 'start gate' at one minute to the start and began unloading their luggage..... Several 'choice' phrases were heard to cut the morning air I can tell you.... :o:

Something must have happened while I was buzzing around NE on the SS1000 route with my trusted Kawasaki ZRX1100 because I'm away on Sunday to pick up an '03 ST1300 (ABS) to keep it company this Winter!! :eek:

Looking forward to picking the collective brain of the group :D
